Tour Scotland travel video of Autumn trees, leaves and rain on ancestry, genealogy, history visit to Norie Miller Park by the River Tay in Perth, Perthshire. The park is named after Sir Francis Norie Miller, 1st Baronet, born 11 March 1859, died, 4 July 1947, who was a British insurance company manager director. He was also a Liberal and later Liberal National politician. Although he was born in England, his chief associations were with Scotland and in particular the city of Perth. In 1936, he was created a Baronet with the title of Norie-Miller of Cleeve in the New Year’s Honours List for political and public service in the County of Perth and for his local philanthropy. Autumn leaf color is a phenomenon that affects the normally green leaves of many deciduous trees and shrubs by which they take on, during a few weeks in the autumn season, various shades of red, yellow, purple, black, orange, pink, magenta, blue and brown. The phenomenon is commonly called autumn colours or autumn foliage in British English and fall colors, fall foliage or simply foliage in American English. The Weather Forecast was for Wet weather for parts of north west England and most of Scotland, and perhaps affecting north west Wales.
