Lethendy is a small hamlet, which lies in Perth and Kinross Council Area, some three miles South West of Blairgowrie and twelve miles North of Perth. Lethendy has four neighbouring parishes; namely Blairgowrie, Caputh, Clunie and Kinloch. Lethendy means, Place of the broad slope, from Scottish Gaelic Leathandaidh. Of interest to folks with ancestry, genealogy or Scottish Family Roots in Scotland who may wish to visit one day. When driving in Scotland, slow down and enjoy the trip.
