Tour Scotland Winter travel video of a road trip drive East, with Scottish bagpipes and drums music, on the A827 road on visit to Ballinluig, Gaelic: Baile an Luig, in Highland Perthshire. During the coronavirus pandemic Ballinluig Services are open from 7am until 9pm Monday to Friday and 7am until 8pm Saturday and Sunday. Ballinluig is a village in the Logierait Parish in Perth and Kinross, Ballinluig lies on the River Tummel adjacent to the A 9 road, four miles South East of Pitlochry. It developed in the 19th Century at a junction of the Highland Railway with a branch leading to Aberfeldy. The branch and station here closed in 1965.
