Christmas Day Morning Drive On A91 Road On Visit To St Andrews Fife Scotland

Tour Scotland Winter travel video of a road trip drive, with Scottish bagpipes and drums music, on Christmas Day morning, East on the A91 road to visit St Andrews in Fife. We drive through the West Port in St Andrews which was built in 1587 as a monumental entrance to the city’s South Street. It was less a defensive structure than it was a symbol of civic pride. Its design is based on that of the Netherbow in Edinburgh, which, in turn, was modelled on Paris’s Porte Saint-Honore.
