Spring Road Trip Drive From Dunino To Visit St Andrews Fife Scotland

Tour Scotland Spring travel video of a road trip drive, with Scottish music, from Dunino, North on the B9131 and A917 roads then along Lamond Drive, and A915 road then through the West Port and along South Street and up Bell Street and along Market Street and ownwards on Union Street to North Street on visit to St Andrews, Fife. The West Port of St Andrews was built in 1587 as a monumental entrance to the city’s South Street. It was less a defensive structure than it was a symbol of civic pride. Its design is based on that of the Netherbow in Edinburgh, which, in turn, was modelled on Paris’s Porte Saint-Honore. The gate was extensively refurbished in 1843. Far fewer tourists and students during the Coronavirus Pandemic. Though I now live in Perthshire, I lived for many years in St Andrews.
