Glenrothes is a town situated in the heart of Fife, in east central Scotland. It is located approximately 30 miles from both Edinburgh, which lies to the South and Dundee to the North. The Great Highland bagpipe, Scottish Gaelic: a' phìob mhòr, is a type of bagpipe native to Scotland. It has acquired widespread recognition through its usage in the British military and in pipe bands throughout the world.
