Spring Drive From Perth To Lochearnhead Highland Perthshire Scotland

Tour Scotland travel video of a Spring road trip drive, with Scottish music, West from Perth, on the A85 road through Crieff, Comrie and St Fillans on ancestry visit to Lochearnhead in Highland Perthshire. Lochearnhead is situated at the western end of Loch Earn where the A85 road from Crieff meets the A84. Loch Earn was on the frontier between Pictland and Dalriada, or Dál Riata, the kingdom of the incoming Scots from Ireland, Dundurn at the east end of the loch being a Pictish frontier fort. This lends weight to the argument that the name Earn therefore comes from Eireann, in other words " the loch of the Irish."
