Old photograph of the Methodist Chapel in Burravoe on the Isle of Yell, Shetland Islands, Scotland. The Methodist chapel was built in 1827. It was built after a shocked visitor found " the people all round daily uttering oaths and execrations of a most horrid and appalling nature ". The chapel became a ruin after a new chapel was built nearer the village in 1900.
