Old Photograph Juno Paddle Steamer Arrochar Scotland

Old photograph of the Juno Paddle Steamer at the pier in Arrochar, Scotland. The Juno took its place on the Dunoon, Rothesay and Kyles run in 1937. With fore and aft deck saloons and generous space across its considerable beam amidships, the steamer was an excellent utility vessel. After less than three full seasons, World War II intervened and Juno left her home waters in His Majesty's service. She was lost in an enemy bombing raid over London in 1941.
