Tour Scotland Travel Video Bullough Mausoleum Isle of Rhum Inner Hebrides

Tour Scotland travel video Blog of the Bullough Mausoleum on ancestry visit to Isle of Rhum, one of the Small Isles of the Inner Hebrides, Scotland. An enormous Doric temple of polished sandstone containing three large sarcophagi, an echo of classical Greece standing in splendid isolation against the sublime backdrop of the Cuillin; also, a monument to the inflated ego of the Bulloughs. For much of the 20th century the name became Rhum, a spelling invented by the former owner, Sir George Bullough, because he did not relish the idea of having the title " Laird of Rum ".
