Tour Scotland Travel Video Cemetery Huna Caithness

Tour Scotland travel video Blog of the cemetery and old church in Huna on the shore of the Pentland Firth on ancestry visit to Caithness, Scotland. The church and cemetery stand on an eminence close by the shore. Huna is likely to have been an important sheltered port from Norse times and it has been suggested that it equates to Hofn, the burial place in 980AD of Hlodvar Thorfinnsson the Norse Earl of Orkney. Edwin, King of Scotland, fought an army of Orkneymen at Huna, and defeated them.
