Located in a peaceful cul-de-sac off Kirkcudbright's historic High Street, this modernised cottage offers comfortable accommodation with a sunny patio just a stone's throw from all Kirkcudbright's amenities, shops, art galleries, restaurants, swimming pool, play park. Kirkcudbright Tolbooth, now used as an Arts Centre, was built between 1625 and 1629 and served not only as the tolbooth, but also the council offices, the burgh and sheriff courts, the criminal prison and the debtors' prison. One of the most famous prisoners was John Paul Jones, hero of the American navy, who was born in nearby Kirkbean. The Stewartry Museum is a local museum in Kirkcudbright, which covers the history of this part of Galloway.

There is double glazing and central heating throughout plus plenty of free on street parking. Cornmill House has a magnificent large private garden - perfect for relaxing, BBQ's and playing hide and seek! It is a short walk from local shops, restaurants, pubs, historic buildings and the River Dee. There are countless beautiful walks, golf courses, beaches, fishing and fun activities for all ages.
