Old photograph of Leitch's Garage on Bonnygate Street in Cupar, Fife, Scotland. In some Gaelic-speaking regions, the name translates to Mac an Leigh, meaning "son of the physician". Historical records also link early bearers (such as the MacBeth family of medical practitioners) to the Gaelic lighich.
