This where Kings of Scots, including Macbeth and Robert The Bruce were crowned. Also known as Boot Hill and the Stone of Scone. The place of coronation was formerly called Caislean Credi, Hill of Credulity. Robert the Bruce was crowned at Scone in 1306 and the last coronation was of King Charles II, when he accepted the Scottish crown in 1651.
