Old photograph of the Temperance Hotel in Lauder in the Scottish Borders located 27 miles South East of Edinburgh, Scotland. Built in 1900 as a Temperance Hotel. It was constructed from local stone from Heriotside quarry up Burnhill. As it was a Temperance Hotel it was not permitted to sell alcohol.
