Old photograph of the Ross Bridge in Comrie, Perthshire, Scotland. Over the years the village of Comrie began to incorporate many of its smaller satellite settlements, including The Ross, a small settlement to the west of the village contained within a river peninsula. The Ross Bridge was constructed in 1792. Prior to this the peninsula was only accessible via a river ford.
