Old photograph of the paddle steamer Kylemore on the River Clyde by Glasgow, Scotland. Launched on April 28th 1897, she operated the Glasgow to Rothesay service, and was stationed at Dunkirk and Harwich undertaking minesweeping duties in World War I. She returned to her original employment in 1920 remaining varying her duties little until World War II, when was lost during a bombing raid off Harwich on August 21st, 1940.
