Old Photograph Bridge Over Forth And Clyde Canal Cadder Scotland

Old photograph of cottages by the bridge over the Forth and Clyde Canal at Cadder in Bishopbriggs, Glasgow, Scotland. In antiquity, Cadder was the site of a Roman fort on the route of the Antonine Wall. Cadder House was a property held by the Stirling family for generations. Cadder is located five miles north of Glasgow city centre. Blog post of interest to folks with ancestry, genealogy or Scottish Family Roots in Scotland who may wish to visit one day.
