Old Photograph Steam Train Leaving Benderloch Scotland

Old photograph of a steam train leaving Benderloch, Argyll, Scotland. This Scottish station opened on 24 August 1903. The station closed in 1966, when the Ballachulish Branch of the Callander and Oban Railway was closed. The name Benderloch is derived from Beinn eadar dà loch, meaning " mountain between two lochs. " Benderloch forms part of the Lynn of Lorn National Scenic Area, one of forty in Scotland.
