Old photograph of the Parish Church in Torryburn, Fife, Scotland. Prior to the construction of the first church in Torryburn in 1616 the inhabitants went to Crombie Old Parish Church, outside Torryburn to the southeast. After the construction of the first church the population continued to grow because of the port and associated commerce in the area. The growing population required a larger church and the original church was demolished and a larger church constructed on the same site.
