Old Photograph Airlie Street Alyth Scotland

Old photograph of shops and children on Airlie Street in Alyth, Perthshire, Scotland. The name Airlie comes from the Old Gaelic term àrd-leathad, which means " high slope " or " high ground," describing the local geography in Angus. The name gained prominence through the Scottish nobility, specifically the Ogilvy family, who were made Earls of Airlie in 1639.
