Old photograph of a steam train outside Kyle of Lochalsh across from Isle of Skye, Scotland. The railway line was built in two phases: the Dingwall and Skye Railway opened in August 1870, and the final 10-mile "Kyle Extension" to Kyle of Lochalsh opened on November 2, 1897.
