Old photograph of the hotel on the Isle of Gigha, a small island off the West coast of Kintyre, in Argyll, Scotland. The island's name " Gigha " may come from the Old Norse " Gudey," meaning " good island " or " God island," dating back to its time as part of the Kingdom of the Isles.
