Old photograph of cottages and horse and cart in Dyke Neuk by Leven, Fife, Scotland. In the early 19th century, the land immediately adjacent to Dykeneuk was heavily industrialised. It was a major hub for the Durie Estate's mining activities, which included several ochre and coal pits.
