Tour Scotland Video Flora MacInnes Stained Glass Window Glencoe

Tour Scotland video of the Mary MacArthur and Flora MacInnes memorial stained glass window in St Mary's Episcopal Church on visit to Glencoe, Scotland. Flora MacInnes was born in Glencoe in a location looking straight into history down Loch Leven, with St. Munda's Isle, the ancient burial isle of the MacDonalds, in the middle distance. Flora maintained a close connection with St. Mary's Episcopal Church throughout her life.

Clan MacInnes ancestors were among the early inhabitants of Islay, Jura and the Kintyre peninsula in Scotland, generally part of the region known as Argyll. These Scotti, a Celtic, Gaelic speaking people, first appear there as settlers from Ireland when Fergus Mór, king of the north Irish kingdom of Dál Riata, and his two brothers, Loarn and Óengus, expanded their lands into south western Alba.
