Old Photograph Children Dundee Scotland

Old photograph of children of mill workers in Dundee, Scotland. During the Industrial Revolution, children were vital, cheap labour in mills, working long hours in dangerous textile factories and mines, often making up a third or more of the workforce, performing tasks suited to small hands but suffering injury, disease, and exploitation until reforms gradually limited their employment.
