Tour Scotland photograph of Abbey Church in Coupar Angus, Perthshire, Scotland. Abbey Church is on the Dundee Road in the historic town of Coupar Angus. Present church, built in 1859, sits on the site of a Cistercian Abbey dating back to the 12th Century. The church has a stone tower and spire that houses a 22 inch bell, made in 1712 and recast in 1888 by Robert Maxwell of Edinburgh.
