Tour Scotland photograph of the Bell Tower, Tillicoultry, Clackmannanshire, Scotland. The bell tower, campanile, was added to the hall below in 1879. James Archibald of Robert Archibald & Sons, woollen manufacturer in Tillicoultry and proprietor of the villa Beechwood, provided £1,500 for its construction. Originally the clock tower had a crown which was lost at some point due to a lightning strike. The architects of both hall and tower were John Melvin and Son.
