Old photograph of a cart with four horses and men in Alford, Aberdeenshire, Scotland. The Battle of Alford was an engagement of the Wars of the Three Kingdoms, which took place near the village of Alford on 2 July 1645. Alford is also the home of the world popular Aberdeen Angus cattle breed.
