Myrtle Cottage
is a charming, traditional stone cottage in a secluded location amid stunning countryside, near Tomintoul in the fabulous Cairngorms National Park and can sleep four people in two bedrooms. The cottage is set over two floors and has two double bedrooms, a ground floor bathroom, a kitchen with dining area, a sitting room with a woodburner and an external utility at the side of the cottage. Outside there is off road parking just below the house, 30 yards away on a slope, or parking at the layby at the track end and a front garden with furniture. Myrtle Cottage is a wonderful base for your restful break in this stunning area. Amenities: Storage heaters with woodburner. Note: The bedrooms have sloping ceilings and limited headroom on one side. Note: Due to steep cottage stairs, the property is unsuitable for children aged 6 and under, and the less mobile. The village of Tomintoul is located on the main road that joins Royal Deeside to the Highlands, so if you're planning on exploring the surrounding area Tomintoul is a great place to call home for a week or so. As well as holding the prestigious title of the highest village anywhere in the Scottish Highlands, Tomintoul also has a surprisingly large amount of shops, pubs and places to eat. There's something for everyone at this high altitude location; take a stroll along the Speyside Trail, walk the Castle and the Whisky Trail or take a trip to Aviemore where there's plenty of skiing fun to be had.

Nia Roo stone cottage is located in the Highlands village of Tomintoul and can sleep six people in three bedrooms. The cottage sleeps six people and has two double bedrooms and one twin plus a family bathroom. Also in the cottage are a fitted kitchen, a utility and boot room and a sitting room with an open fire. Outside is off road parking and a courtyard with outdoor furniture. A wonderful touring location with plenty of local village amenities, Nia Roo is a lovely family holiday cottage in a stunning location. Amenities: Oil central heating with open fire. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 1 min walk. The village of Tomintoul was laid out on a grid pattern by the 4th Duke of Gordon in 1775. It followed the construction, twenty years previously, of a military road by William Caulfeild, now the A939.

Avondale is a detached cottage located in the charming village of Tomintoul in the Cairngorms National Park, and can sleep six people in three bedrooms. With three bedrooms including two twins and one ground floor double, this cottage can sleep six people. The rest of the cottage includes an open plan kitchen with dining area and sitting area with woodburner and a separate sitting room. To the outside of the cottage is ample off road parking, a front paved patio garden with furniture and a rear lawned garden with outstanding views and a picnic bench. Avondale Cottage is a wonderful base for families and friends to explore the glorious Cairngorms National Park and beyond. Amenities: Gas central heating with woodburner. Beechyard Cottage sleeps two people in one bedroom, in the Cairngorms village of Tomintoul. The cottage is all ground floor, and has a queen-size double bedroom, a shower room, fitted kitchen and a sitting room with dining area and multi-fuel stove. Outside, parking can be found on the roadside, and there is an enclosed rear garden with patio, furniture and bike storage. The shops and pub of Tomintoul are just a few minutes' walk from Beech Yard Cottage, with the rest of the beautiful Cairngorms within easy reach, ideal for a walking holiday or just for enjoying the scenery.
