Tour Scotland short 4K Summer Monday wildlife nature camera travel video clip of the sight and sounds of a Coal Tit Bird and Grey Squirrel spotted eating on morning visit and trip to my Scottish cottage garden in Scone by Perth, Perthshire, Britain, United Kingdom. The coal tit bird is mainly found in coniferous woodland, but can also be spotted in gardens and parks. Coal tits are active feeders, hunting out insects and spiders among the smaller branches and leaves of trees in woodlands. But they are also well adapted to gardens and towns and will visit bird tables and feeders. In winter, they form flocks with other tits, roaming woodlands and gardens. The coal tit is grey above and buff below, with white cheeks, a black cap and a white neck patch. Whether you live in town or country, you can help to look after garden birds by providing food and water for them. Being in nature, or even viewing scenes of nature, reduces anger, fear, and stress and increases pleasant feelings. Exposure to nature not only makes you feel better emotionally, it contributes to your physical wellbeing. . The date for astronomical Summer in Scotland is Tuesday, 21 June, ending on Friday, 23 September. Meteorological Summer runs from 1 June to 31 August #summer #birds #shortsvideo @tourscotland #squirrel

Scotsman Walking Wearing Kilt By Standing Stones On History Visit To Outer Hebrides Scotland
Tour Scotland short 4K travel video clip of a Scotsman wearing a kilt and sporran and walking by Standing Stone Circle on ancestry, genealogy, history visit and trip to the Outer Hebrides, Britan, United Kingdom. Stone circles in Scotland, primarily built during the Neolithic and early Bronze Age, roughly 3,000 - 2,000 BC, are fascinating remnants of ancient ceremonial and ritual practices. These enigmatic structures, often found in prominent locations, were part of a wider landscape of ritual sites including timber structures and burial cairns. While their exact purpose remains a subject of study, evidence suggests they were used for astronomical observations, religious ceremonies, and possibly as places for burial and cremation. Of interest to folks with ancestry, genealogy or Scottish Family Roots in Scotland who may wish to visit one day. #scotland #shortsvideo #kilt #neolithic #bronzeage @tourscotland #scotsman

Scotsman Walking On Isle Of Taransay On History Visit To Outer Hebrides Scotland
Tour Scotland short 4K travel video clip of a Scotsman wearing a kilt and sporran and walking on the Isle of Taransay on ancestry, genealogy, history visit and trip to the Outer Hebrides, Britain, United Kingdom. Scotland's largest island without a permanent human population. Evidence suggests human presence on Taransay as far back as 9,000 years, with a shellfish-based diet being a key part of their sustenance. The island was initially inhabited by Celtic pagans, with Christianity arriving around 650 AD. In 900 AD, Vikings invaded and occupied Taransay, leaving their mark on the island's history. In 1544, a massacre by the Morrison clan took place on the island, later avenged by the inhabitants of Berneray. The island's population declined over time due to various factors, including rent increases in 1835 and restrictions on livestock and agriculture in 1883. Taransay was largely abandoned in 1942, with the last family leaving in the 1970s. The island gained fame by hosting the Castaway 2000 reality TV show, where a group of 36 people lived on the island for a year in an attempt to build a community. Of interest to folks with ancestry, genealogy or Scottish Family Roots in Scotland who may wish to visit one day. #scotland #shortsvideo #rain #kilt @tourscotland #scotsman #kilt #sporran #island

Summer Rain Road Trip Drive With Music To Church On History Visit To Strathmiglo Fife Scotland
Tour Scotland 4K Summer rain travel video of road trip drive on ancestry, genealogy, history visit to the Parish Church in Strathmiglo, Fife, Britain, United Kingdom. Tthe roots of the singer Johnny Cash are from Stathmiglo. William Cash, from Strathmiglo, was a mariner who ferried Scottish immigrants to the New World. After a few trips, he decided to stay in the USA himself, and settled in Salem, Massachusetts. On one trip, he brought his nephew with him, also from Strathmiglo, and that nephew decided to stay as well. This was in the 1650s. The elder William Cash stayed in Salem, and became a prominent citizen, serving on a jury for a murder trial. The records for this trial, and William's last will and testament, still remain in the Salem town hall. The younger William Cash moved south, to Westmoreland County, Virginia and his descendants spread through Virginia, Georgia and Arkansas. The grandfather of Johnny Cash, William Cash, settled in Arkansas. His youngest son, Ray Cash was born in 1897. The father of Johnny Cash was born in Kingsland, Arkansas. The church was built in 1787 at the top of Kirk Wynd near the edge of the village of Strathmiglo. It is at the west of the three separate graveyards relating to the present and earlier churches. Of interest to folks with ancestry, genealogy or Scottish Family Roots in Scotland who may wish to visit one day. Find things to see and do in Scotland where you are always welcome.
