Tour Scotland 4K Spring travel video, with Scottish bagpipes music, of a morning road trip drive West up Perth Road on ancestry, genealogy, family history visit to Dundee, Tayside, Britain, United Kingdom. Perth Road has many shops and businesses plus university buildings and student accommodation. Residents in 1900 on this road included the watchmaker William Hunter; Miss McNaughton, who owned a wool warehouse, and the telegraphist Christian Duncan. The rise of the textile industries in Dundee brought with it an expansion of supporting industries, notably of the whaling, maritime and shipbuilding industries and extensive development of the waterfront area started in 1815 to cope with increased demand for port capacity. At its height, 200 ships per year were built there, including Robert Falcon Scott's Antarctic research vessel, the RRS Discovery. While the city's economy was dominated by the jute industry, it also became known for smaller industries. Most notable among these were James Keiller's and Sons, established in 1795, which pioneered commercial marmalade production, and the publishing firm DC Thomson, which was founded in the city in 1905. Blue Tit Bird On Spring Tuesday Visit To My Cottage Garden Scone Perth Perthshire Scotland

Tour Scotland short 4K early Spring Tuesday wilfdlife nature camera travel video clip of the sight and sounds of a small vibrant Blue Tit bird spotted eating Suet on an afternoon visit and trip to my Scottish cottage garden in Scone by Perth, Perthshire, Britain, United Kingdom. The flowers in the background are polyanthus. The blue tit bird is identified by its colourful plumage. Blue tit’s wings, tail and crown are bright blue and their other defining features include a yellow breast, green shading on their back, white cheeks, a single white wing bar, and prominent black stripes on the eyes, bib and collar. Although the female and male are nearly indistinguishable, the female is slightly paler. Juveniles can be distinguished from adults as their colouring is more green than blue, and their cheeks are yellow rather than white. Blue tits are typically found in woodland areas, although they are well adapted to gardens and towns. They are very agile birds. The population of this species has flourished due to the increased availability of nest boxes and garden feeders. Blue tits can be observed in gardens eating at bird feeders or scavenging for food. Some of their favourite foods are insects, sunflower hearts, Mealworms, suet and peanuts. Being in nature, or even viewing scenes of nature, reduces anger, fear, and stress and increases pleasant feelings. Exposure to nature not only makes you feel better emotionally, it contributes to your physical wellbeing. Robin Bird On Spring Tuesday Visit To My Cottage Garden Scone Perth Perthshire Scotland

Tour Scotland short 4K early Spring Tuesday wildlife nature camera travel video clip of the sight and sounds of a Robin bird spotted eating Suet on a morning visit and trip to my Scottish cottage garden in Scone by Perth, Perthshire, Britain, United Kingdom. The flowers in the background are polyanthus. With its bright red breast ithe Robin bird is a familiar visitor to my garden. There are tales stretching back to Norse mythology where the robin is the protector from storms and lightning. And in Celtic folklore the robin is known as the Oak King of Summer. The well known phrase, " When robins appear, loved ones are near ", alludes to the belief that the robin is a messenger. When robins are seen, some people take comfort that loved ones are at peace, and many believe that their lost loved ones are visiting them.
