Tour Scotland Autumn 4K wildlife nature camera travel video of the sight and sounds of Blue Tit birds eating on a morning visit and trip to my cottage garden in Scone by Perth, Perthshire, Britain, United Kingdom. Tits are easily recognisable. Small and agile, they can extract food from the feeders with ease. You will notice the difference when comparing to other garden birds. They often arrive at the feeders in small groups. Generally, tits have a lifespan of two or three years but they can live for longer. They are vulnerable at feeders and the risk comes from cats and birds of prey such as Sparrowhawks. Whether you live in town or country, you can help to look after garden birds by providing food for them. Being in nature, or even viewing scenes of nature, reduces anger, fear, and stress and increases pleasant feelings. Exposure to nature not only makes you feel better emotionally, it contributes to your physical wellbeing. Of interest to folks with ancestry, genealogy or Scottish Family Roots in Scotland who may wish to visit one day. Find things to see and do in Scotland where you are always welcome. According to the meteorological calendar, the first day of Autumn or Fall always falls on September 1. If you follow the astrological calendar, however, Autumn or Fall begins on Saturday, September 23

Victorian Dolls House With Music On History Visit To Glasgow Scotland
Tour Scotland short 4K travel video clip, with Scottish music, of a Victorian Dolls House on ancestry, genealogy, family history visit and trip to Glasgow, Britain, United Kingdom. The earliest records of dolls houses or baby houses as they were also called, date back to the sixteenth century, but these were exclusive, tending to be replicas of wealthy family homes and were built as a record of the times rather than for hobby or play purposes. During the same period wealthy women in Holland and Germany created miniature houses. During the eighteenth century cabinet houses began to appear - where a dolls house was created in the interior of a beautiful cabinet. However, it was not until the Victorian era in the late 1800s that dolls houses became truly popular. Though still not seen as a hobby, many a Victorian nursery rang to the joyful sounds of children playing with the dolls house. Of interest to folks with ancestry, genealogy or Scottish Family Roots in Scotland who may wish to visit one day. Find things to see and do in Scotland where you are always welcome

Autumn Road Trip Drive With Music To Church On History Visit To Invergowrie Perthshire Scotland
Tour Scotland 4K Autumn travel video of a road trip drive, with Scottish bagpipes music, East on Shore Road on ancestry, genealogy, family history visit to the parish church in Invergowrie, Perthshire, Britain, United Kingdom. The Church of Scotland building is of early Gothic style with a square tower and an open timber roof which dates from 1909. The architect was John Robertson who was born at Castlehill of Inshes, Inverness in the Highlands on 25 October 1840, the son of Andrew Robertson, house carpenter and Margaret Campbell. He was articled to Alexander Ross born 1855 and remained as an assistant, his first known work in independent practice being in 1880. Robertson retired in 1910. He is said to have been a very good draughtsman, in person 'not without quaintness' retaining his 'native creativity and frank independence to the last'. His Gothic work was unmistakable with a marked predilection for hammer-dressed masonry contrasted with polished ashlar, unusual convex mouldings and occasionally rounded angles. If stone could not be afforded the same affects were achieved in cement render. Robertson died at Hawthorndene, Inverness on 27 December 1925 and was buried at Tomnaharich on the 30th. He was unmarried. Invergowrie village is located on the north west bank of the Firth of Tay to the west of Dundee. The village was formerly part of the estate of Mylnefield. The quarry at Invergowrie supplied important sites around the UK, stone being included in the base of Nelson's column and St Katherine's Docks in London. The quarry workers hit a spring at the beginning of the 20th century and the quarry filled with water.
