Tour Scotland Travel Video Winter Morning Drive From Perth To Dundee
Tour Scotland travel video of a Winter morning road trip drive East on the A90 road from Perth, Perthshire, on ancestry visit to Dundee, Scotland. This Scottish road originates in Edinburgh, it the travels west and over the Forth Road Bridge, before turning into the M90 motorway. At Perth, the M90 again becomes the A90, now running north east to Dundee and through the Kingsway road system. It then passes Forfar, Brechin, Stracathro, the site of an ancient Roman Camp, Stonehaven, Bridge of Muchalls, where the Burn of Muchalls flows under, near Muchalls Castle, near Saint Ternan's Church, Newtonhill, Portlethen, from there through the city of Aberdeen, crossing the Ythan Estuary, on to Peterhead on its way to Fraserburgh.

Tour Scotland Winter travel video of an almost got stuck road trip drive up and down snow covered David Douglas Avenue in Scone near the Fair City of Perth, Perthshire, Scotland. David Douglas, born 25th of June 1799, died 12th of July 1834, was a Scottish botanist. He was born to John Douglas, a stonemason, and Jean Drummond. He worked as a gardener, and explored the Scottish Highlands, North America, and Hawaii, where he died.

Tour Scotland Travel Video Winter Drive From Balbeggie To The Park A Ride Scone Perthshire
Tour Scotland Winter travel video of a road trip drive from Balbeggie to the Park And Ride at Scone near the Fair City of Perth, Perthshire, Scotland. The Scone Park and Ride site is located on the A94 approaching Scone adjacent to the Angus Road roundabout, giving easy access from: Balbeggie, Woodside, Burrelton, Coupar Angus, Blairgowrie, Alyth and Meigle. The site has 50 free car parking spaces. The site is open seven days a week, between the following times: 0633 to 1956 - Monday to Friday; 0826 to 1956 - Saturday; 0940 to 1910 - Sunday. The site is gated and the gates are locked outwith the times stated above.

Tour Scotland Travel Video Winter Drive To The Airport In Scone By Perth Perthshire
Tour Scotland travel video of a Winter road trip drive through Scone village on visit to the Airport near the Fair City of Perth, Perthshire, Scotland. Scotland's Charity Air Ambulance is based at the airport which is used by private and business aircraft, and for pilot training. The airport opened in 1936 as Scone Aerodrome. A flight training school, training military pilots, was established by Airwork Ltd shortly after the airport was opened. Before the war a number of scheduled airline services operated from Perth to various domestic locations. During the war 309 and 666 Squadrons from the Royal Air Force used the aerodrome. After the war Airwork moved into civilian pilot training.

Tour Scotland Travel Video Winter Drive On Old Road To Scone By Perthshire
Tour Scotland Winter travel video of a road trip drive on the A93 road and then up the hill on the old road on ancestry visit to the village of Scone by the Fair City of Perth, Perthshire, Scotland. In 1803 the 3rd Earl of Mansfield commissioned William Atkinson to design and build a new gothic Scone Palace. In about 1804, John Claudius Loudon prepared two plans for laying out the park and gardens and he proposed moving the village of old Scone as well as moving the main road, now the A93. The village was removed to New Scone, which no simply called Scone. The original road to the Old Palace ran through the park and entered the Palace gates near to the graveyard. This had been removed by the 19th century.
