Residents of Arbroath, a fishing town on the Scottish north east coast, are affectionately known as Red Lichties, an ancient nickname that local people, as well as those abroad, adopt with a sense of pride.

Tour Scotland video of De La Salle Scout Pipe Band in the Highland Games Parade in Pitlochry, Perthshire, Scotland. De La Salle Scout Group is one of the oldest, largest, most active and most successful Scout Groups in Ireland. De La Salle Scout Pipe band was founded on December 15th, 1933. After a short few months in training the band performed in public for the first time on May 15th, 1934 when it lead the scouts and the pupils of Stephen Street School to the annual Mass in the Cathedral in Waterford to mark St De La Salle's Day.

Tour Scotland Video Denny and Dunipace Pipe Band Highland Games Parade Pitlochry Perthshire




Tour Scotland video of Denny and Dunipace Pipe Band in the Highland Games Parade in Pitlochry, Perthshire, Scotland. This pipe band based in Denny, near Falkirk. The band was established in 1964 by Captain John Deuchar and Roy Smith, who was the first Pipe Major. When in Grade 3A, the band took first place in the 2006 World Pipe Band Championships at Glasgow Green, and won the annual Champion of Champions for 3A. This resulted in promotion to Grade 2 for 2007. Since then, the band placed 2nd at the 2011 World Championships, winning the prize for best drum corps. In 2012, success has continued, with 2nd places at both the Scottish and British Championships, and 1st places at the European and World Championships. In 2012, the drum corps placed 1st at the Scottish, British and European Championships.
