Tour Scotland Video Pipe Band Practicing Strathmore Highland Games June 12th

Tour Scotland video of City of Brechin Pipe Band practicing before the Strathmore Highland Games on the grounds of Glamis Castle, Angus, Scotland. Set in the ground of the Castle, this is an annual event steeped in heritage and tradition. The first highland games took place around a thousand years ago when Scotland was divided by Clans, and ruled by Clan Chiefs and Kings. They were held as a competition of strength and agility, in order that the various Chieftains might recruit the fastest runners for messengers, the strongest men as bodyguards, and the best dancers and pipers to entertain the Clan and their guests.
