Tour Scotland Winter video of the freezing River Tay today in Perth, Perthshire, Scotland. Shot this video this afternoon, just as the sun began to set in Perth. Due to the extremely cold weather, this is the second time this month that the river has started to freeze over.

Tour Scotland Winter Video Balhousie Castle


Tour Scotland Winter travel video of Balhousie Castle on ancestry, genealogy, history visit and trip to Perth, Perthshire. Housed in historic Balhousie Castle is the Museum of The Black Watch displaying 266 years of the rich history of Scotland's best known and oldest Highland regiment. The origins of Balhousie Castle are said to date back to the 12th century. Originally an L-shaped tower house what we see today is the central part, possibly dating from the 17th century. In its present form, the Castle dates from the 1860s.
