October 27th Autumn Video Loch Tummel Scotland

October 27th Autumn video of beautiful Loch Tummel in Highland Perthshire, Scotland. The area around the River Tummel and Loch Tummel is known as Strathtummel and is one of the most beautiful parts of Perthshire. Loch Tummel is a very well known Scottish loch, not least because of the famous World War 1 song that included the lines: " By Loch Tummel and Loch Rannoch and Lochaber I will go, by heather tracks wi heaven in their wiles. " The loch and other places mentioned in the song lay on the traditional main route north to the west coast of Scotland, known famously as the Road to the Isles.

Perthshire is at the very heart of Scotland and one of the most popular regions for visitors, offering a variety of Highland and Lowland landscapes with some of the most scenic and accessible countryside for shorter walks as well as evidence of its rich history at every turn. Perthshire 40 Town and Country Walks features traditional tourist hubs, such as Pitlochry, Dunkeld and Killin, with its historical connections to the county, as well as countryside around Blairgowrie, Crieff and Aberfeldy, finishing up at the Fair City of Perth and nearby Kinross. October 26th Evening Railway Station Perth Scotland

Collecting people tonight from the railway station in Perth, Scotland. Shot a short video of a diesel passenger train leaving Perth for Ladybank in Fife. Passenger services are operated by First ScotRail, and the station is staffed throughout its opening hours. From Perth station, trains operate to: Edinburgh, via Fife; Glasgow, via Stirling; Inverness, via the Highland Main Line; and Aberdeen via Dundee. The daily (overnight) Caledonian Sleeper service between Inverness and London and the daily East Coast Highland Chieftain service between Inverness and London Kings Cross call at this station.
