Old Photograph Loch Torridon Scotland
Old photograph of Loch Torridon, Scotland. Tour Torridon Scotland. The loch was created by glacial processes and is in total around 15 miles long. It has two sections: Upper Loch Torridon to landward, east of Rubha na h-Airde Ghlaise, at which point it joins Loch Sheildaig; and the main western section of Loch Torridon proper. Loch a' Chracaich and Loch Beag are small inlets on the southern shores of the outer Loch, which joins the Inner Sound between the headlands of Rubha na Fearna to the south and Red Point to the north.

Old photograph of climbers on the Isle of Arran, Scotland. The Isle of Arran is often referred to as Scotland in miniature. Its northern mountain ranges contrast markedly with its southern moorlands and forests, while its coastline features placid bays and striking cliffs. Roads are limited in extent, but opportunities to explore on foot abound.

Old Photograph Farmhouse Glenshee Scotland
Old photograph of a farmhouse in Glenshee, Perthshire, Scotland. The A93 road, part of General Wade's military road from Perth to Fort George, runs north through the glen and on into Glen Beag, where it crosses the Cairnwell Pass, at 2200 feet above sea level the highest public road in the UK.

Old Photograph Kinfauns Castle Scotland
Old photograph of Kinfauns Castle, Perthshire, Scotland. Kinfauns Castle was designed by Robert Smirke and built between 1822 and 1826 by Lord Gray on the site of a medieval stronghold.
