Perthshire 40 Town and Country Walks features traditional tourist hubs, such as Pitlochry, Dunkeld and Killin, with its historical connections to the county, as well as countryside around Blairgowrie, Crieff and Aberfeldy, finishing up at the Fair City of Perth and nearby Kinross. September 17th Video Meikleour Beech Hedge Scotland

September 17th Video of Meikleour Beech Hedge, Perthshire, Scotland. If you drive from Perth to Blairgowrie you can’t miss the great hedge of Meikleour. It forms an incredible living wall of beech trees 100 ft high and a third of a mile long. The trees were planted in 1745 and are now officially recognised in the Guinness Book of Records as the highest hedge in the world. The hedge is at its most beautiful in late Autumn.
