April 30th morning photograph of St Ninian's Cathedral, Perth, Scotland. St Ninian's Cathedral or the Cathedral Church of St Ninian is a cathedral of the Scottish Episcopal Church in the Royal burgh of Perth. It is the see of the Anglican Bishop of Saint Andrews, Dunkeld and Dunblane, who is the ordinary of the Diocese of Saint Andrews, Dunkeld and Dunblane. The cathedral was built on the site of an older Dominican monastery and was the first to be built in Britain since the Reformation, being consecrated in 1850. It was designed by the English architect William Butterfield.
