Old photograph of fishing boats in the harbour in Cockenzie, East Lothian, Scotland. The de Sayton Family, who became earls of Winton, acquired the lands of Winton and the fishing village of Cockenzie in East Lothian as early as the twelfth century. Sir William Seton was created Lord Seton in 1371, and the sixth Lord was created Earl of Winton by King James VI.

Old photograph of Murrayfield, Edinburgh, Scotland. Murrayfield is an affluent area in the west of Edinburgh, Scotland. It is to the east of Corstorphine and Balgreen and west of Roseburn and the city centre. The A8 road runs east-west through the north of the area.

Old photograph of Juniper Green, Edinburgh, Scotland. Juniper Green's earliest mention is in the Kirk records of Colinton in 1707. However, it is largely called Curriemuirend up until the end of the 18th century and the area only really developed as a village from around 1810.
