Tour Scotland travel video of the clock chiming on ancestry, genealogy, history visit and trip to the Cathedral in Brechin, Angus, Scotland. The current tower clock was installed during a major restoration of the cathedral in 1807, replacing a previous mid 17th century timepiece. It strikes the hours on the " meikle bell " meaning large bell in the belfry and rings the quarters on two smaller bells built into the spire.
