Tour Scotland 4K Summer travel video, with Scottish bagpipes music, of The Kelpies by the Forth and Clyde Canal on ancestry, genealogy, history visit and trip to Falkirk. These are high horse head sculptures, standing next to a new extension to the Forth and Clyde Canal, and near River Carron, in The Helix, a new parkland project built to connect 16 communities in the Falkirk Council Area. The sculptures were designed by sculptor Andy Scott. The kelpie is a supernatural water horse from Celtic folklore that is believed to haunt the rivers and lochs of Scotland and Ireland. These Kelpies represent the lineage of the heavy horse of Scottish industry and economy, pulling the wagons, ploughs, barges and coalships that shaped the geographical layout of the Falkirk area.
