The intersection where the A914 and A92 roads meet in North Fife, just south of Newport on Tay, is known as the Forgan Roundabout. The junction serves as a primary hub linking traffic heading north from St Andrews and Cupar via the A914 with the main A92 dual carriageway, which leads directly to the Tay Road Bridge and Dundee. The roundabout was created in 1966 routing long distance vehicles completely around the historic coastal towns.
