Scotsman Walking Wearing Kilt On Sand Dunes On Summer History Visit To Culbin Forest Scotland
Tour Scotland short 4K Summer travel video clip of a Scotsman wearing a Kilt and Sporran and walking on sand dunes on ancestry, genealogy, history visit and trip to the coast of Culbin Forest, Moray Firth, Britain, United Kingdom. A major filming location for Christopher Nolan's epic film adaptation The Odyssey which uses this coastal pine woodland and its massive sand dunes to represent the mythical island of Lamos, setting the stage for Odysseus's violent encounter with the giant Laestrygonians. Culbin Forest also acts as the landing site where Odysseus and his crew venture inland. The dense pine groves set the scene for the legendary ambush by a race of giants who destroy most of the Greek fleet. Of interest to folks with ancestry, genealogy or Scottish Family Roots in Scotland who may wish to visit one day. Find things to see and do in Scotland where you are always welcome. Summer in Scotland officially runs from June through August
