Glenashdale is a picturesque and historically rich valley set within the South End Forest, featuring rich native trees, deep gorges, and abundant flora. The falls are located near the village of Whiting Bay. The trail begins at Ashdale Bridge at the southern end of Whiting Bay. To reach the trail, visitors must first travel by ferry from Ardrossan to Brodick, and then take the A841 road south.
