Tour Scotland short 4K Spring travel video clip of a Scotsman wearing a Kilt and Sporran and walking by plants and flowers in a garden on ancestry, genealogy, history visit and trip to Armadale Castle, Isle of Skye, United Kingdom. A mansion was built here around 1790, but the current, famous ruins date from a large, 1815 TudorGothic expansion by the 2nd Lord MacDonald. The now closed Castle ruins date from the early and middle of the 19th century. The site was the ancestral home of the Macdonalds of Sleat, part of the powerful Clan Donald who once controlled the Western Isles as Lords of the Isles. Of interest to folks with ancestry, genealogy or Scottish Family Roots in Scotland who may wish to visit one day. Find things to see and do in Scotland where you are always welcome. The date for astronomical Spring is 20th March, ending on 21st June
