Tour Scotland very short Winter 4K travel video clip of a Scotsman wearing a kilt and and Sporran and walking during storm waves on Brighouse Bay Beach on ancestry, genealogy, history visit and trip to the coast of the Solway Firth, Britain, United Kingdom. Like much of the Solway coast, the bay was a notorious landing point for smugglers in the 17th and 18th centuries. Its proximity to the Isle of Man made it ideal for landing highly taxed goods like tobacco, tea, and brandy away from customs officials. By the meteorological calendar, the first day of Winter is always 1st December in Scotland; ending on 28th of February. Officially, the Scottish winter runs from the 21st of December through to the 20th March
