Tour Scotland short 4K travel video clip of a Scotsman wearing a Kilt and Sporran and walking in Glen More on ancestry, genealogy, history visit and trip to the Island of Mull, Britain, United Kingdom. The most profound recent historical event affecting Glen Bellart was the Highland Clearances, which caused mass emigration. The legacy of the Clearances is still visible in the landscape of Glen Bellart. You can find abandoned crofts, which are small farms and cottages, that speak to the depopulation of the area. As communities were displaced, the Gaelic language and traditions that were once dominant in the glen declined significantly. The emigrants from Glen Bellart and other parts of Mull settled all over the world, with communities forming in Nova Scotia, Australia, and New Zealand. This created a global network of descendants, many of whom now return to Mull to explore their ancestral roots. Autumn leaf color or colour is a phenomenon that affects the normally green leaves of many deciduous trees and shrubs by which they take on, during a few weeks in the Autumn season, various shades of red, yellow, purple, black, orange, pink, magenta, blue and brown. The phenomenon is commonly called autumn colours or autumn foliage in British English and fall colors, fall foliage or simply foliage in American. Of interest to folks with ancestry, genealogy or Scottish Family Roots in Scotland who may wish to visit one day. Find things to see and do in Scotland where you are always welcome
